Getting started
- Open the editor and drop in a video or GIF (or tap Upload).
- Pick a style, then type your ads. Add more ads and set how long each one shows.
- Tap Download, sign in with your email (first time only), and get the finished file with the ticker burned in.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an account?
You can try the editor without one, but you need a free account to download. Enter your email and we'll send you a sign-in code — no password. Your clip and settings stay in the editor while you sign in.
I didn't get a sign-in code
Check your spam or promotions folder, and make sure the email address is spelled correctly. Codes expire after a while, so use "Send a new code" if it's been more than a few minutes.
Is my video uploaded anywhere?
No. Your clip is processed in your browser on your own device and never leaves it. See our privacy policy for details.
Which files can I use?
Videos (MP4, MOV, WebM) and animated GIFs. For the best results, keep videos under 200 MB, 60 seconds and 1080p, and GIFs under 25 MB. Still images (JPG, PNG) aren't supported.
What do I get when I download?
Videos download as MP4 with the original audio where your browser supports it, otherwise as WebM. GIFs download as an animated GIF that runs for one full rotation of your ads (or the GIF's own length, if longer), up to 20 seconds and 720 pixels on the longest side.
My export failed or is very slow
- Keep the +Ticker tab open and in front until the download finishes. Video exports play in real time, so a 30-second clip takes about 30 seconds.
- Use an up-to-date Chrome, Edge or Safari, ideally on a computer.
- Try a shorter or smaller clip, and close other tabs to free up memory.
Why did my video download as WebM?
Some browsers can only record WebM. It plays in most browsers and video apps; if you need MP4, try exporting in Safari or a recent Chrome or Edge.
What is the sponsor slot?
Ad 2 is reserved for a short +Ticker message, which keeps +Ticker free. You can unlock it to edit or remove it for your current session; refreshing the page restores it. Payments aren't live yet, so unlocking doesn't charge you.
Is my design saved?
Not yet. We keep a record of each download, but you can't reopen a design to edit it. Your clip and ticker settings are cleared when you refresh or close the page, so download before you leave.
